Bed size: Queen... I left those twin beds behind after my undergrad years.

Chore you dislike: Wouldn't it be easier to answer what chore I do like? But.. I really dislike washing dishes.. they just keep appearing. ugh.

Dogs: Ew. 

Okay... little dogs are kinda cute sometimes. The dogs at my work- EW!
So really... It's lovely that other people want to have dogs (sometimes), but I will never have one!

Favorite color: Probably turqoise. It's pretty!

Instruments you play(ed): I have played almost every clarinet there is (regular, alto, bass, and contra-bass) I took piano lessons, but wasn't interested in practicing. dumb. Then I dabbled in guitar for awhile- I'd like to pick that up again.

Job title: House Coach. I need a new job.

Kids: Love them. Thanks to my siblings for continuing to have kids as to serve my baby hunger while I'm still single!

Live: Holladay area... I'm ready for a new apartment. This building is getting out of control.

Nicknames: Well there have been many throughout the years but I'll go ahead and put the ones I like best and hear on a regular basis. Jer and Jer Bear.

Overnight hospital stays: I don't think I've ever spent the night in the hospital. I have been very blessed when it comes to health.

Pet peeve: Light coming into my room while trying to sleep. People not picking up after themselves.

What makes you run late: Getting distracted by my computer or watching shows.

X-rays you've had: I assume I had x-rays when I broke my collar bone? Obviously my teeth... Most recently was my back/neck for my chiropractor after my encounter with the moose.

Yummy food you make: I don't cook a ton, although I can. The thing I make most is stir fry. Not too exciting.

OVERTIME

So... I've put in quite a few hours at work lately. When I first got started I thought a few hours would be good for a few extra bucks in my pocket. One of the days I was planning on working an 8 hr day instead of an entire shift. Instead there ended up being a situation that I needed to stay for. So my 8 hr day turned into a 13 hr day. I was super tired that week so I thought I needed a break. So the next week comes around and my supervisor totally guilted me into working again. So this pay period I put in...... Are you ready?!?! 107 HOURS

Crafty...

So, lately I've been wanting to do something crafty. This isn't super crafty, but I did a little collage. I'm super into damask in black and white. So I got together a few pictures of my nieces and I and put this together:

 

I have a few other ideas in mind, but this time I want to do some more things that are more for decorating!

Work, Work, Work....

Well... I was going to better at staying on top of this blogging thing. I have shown that I'm not too great at it. I was thinking back on the last 2 months since I blogged about what's been going on. One word came to my mind: WORK!!!
I seriously feel like I've been putting in so many hours lately. I worked Christmas Eve, Christmas day, New Years Eve, and New Years day. Then I've been picking up on some extra shifts here and there for some overtime pay. Well it finally caught up to me and I caught a cold. So I've been spending the last 3 days trying to kick this cold so I can make it through work this weekend.

I guess since I've updated on here I've had a few job interviews for therapist positions. Neither of them have panned out in a job though. Although the other day I got a call from my old supervisor. She found out about a therapist opening at Oakley and called the clinical director to tell him he should interview me! Then she called me to give me some pointers on what he is looking for and how to interview! She has really been pulling for me ever since we met! So cool!

Fun Fall

Sarah, Kenzi, and I took a drive up in the canyons to look at all the fall leaves and had a little picnic too! Then we went over to This is the Place Park. It was such a fun afternoon. I just love time spent with these girls!!

Playing Chicken with a Moose

So- Last Saturday night I had the most terrifying experience of my life. I met a moose on the road in Parleys Canyon on my way home from work. I didn't see it soon enough to get completely out of the way and ended up hitting it. In the end I got away with minor cuts and overall soreness. My car, on the other hand, wasn't quite as lucky. It is totaled. The moose is dead. For some reason, I'm still here and almost untouched.

For those of you who haven't seen one- this is a moose. They're big suckers.
