Allred and Parachute Concert

Well, I saw an ad for a free concert featuring Parachute! I was super excited and even more excited when I saw Allred, a local band, was opening for them! I was first introduced to Allred by my friend Kendra and I've been obsessed ever since! He is fantastic live!! So I convinced my friend, Mary, to join me at the concert. It was super chill at a nice outdoor venue! Here's a few pictures from the concert and some videos from Allred and Parachute!

Nauvoo

Nauvoo is very nostalgic for me. A little background... My mom and I used to go to Nauvoo every summer for the City of Joseph pageant (no longer showing. sad face) On our way there we would going shopping at the outlets, then tour the city of Nauvoo, and that night go to the pageant. It's one of my most vivid and fondest memories growing up. So in May I was excited to get to go back from my cousin, Cara's wedding. I was able to get a couple great shots of the temple and sunset on the Mississippi.

 And it was incredible how fast the sunset changed in such a short period of time.

I love spending time in Nauvoo, especially time with my family. It's great to look back and be reminded of the history of the church as well as some of my own history as a kid growing up.

Renewed committment to blog.

So... I was considering ending my relationship with the blogging world not too long ago. I felt like I didn't really have anything to blog about or that anyone was reading it. Well recently I have come to realize that there are TONS of funny and interesting things that happen to me in a day... whether it be with a client, my roommate, out with friends, etc. So I've decided I'm just going to write about the little things in life that make me laugh. I've also decided that I'm gonna make my blog public... Its not like I write anything super private anyway!!!

So here I am committing to try harder to be a somewhat regular blogger!! Wish me luck and feel free to comment on my silly stories!!
